On the move: Welshman signs with Siena

SIGMA FC announced recently that another player from its squad has signed a letter of intent attend Siena University in Albany, New York on an athletic scholarship. Emery Welshman was one of SIGMA’s most sought after players in the 2009 graduating class.

SIGMA Technical Director, Bobby Smyrniotis says of Welshman: “It has been a privilege to have Emery at SIGMA over the past few years. When he came to us he was known in the age group as a quick striker capable of scoring goals. Leaving us in August he has become a total player. He can play as a target or peripheral striker and is equally efficient playing on the wing. He will definitely succeed at SIENA and beyond.”
